В прошлые выходные казаки Юга России — участники конного перехода в честь 70-летия Великой Победы по маршруту Волгоград—Севастополь — разбили лагерь на правом берегу Салгира в Воронцовском парке Симферополя. Около сотни отборных красавиц-лошадей паслись на травке, купались в реке и мирно спали в сени деревьев в пяти минутах ходьбы от дома. Я был бы не я, если бы не сделал пару-тройку зарисовок такой красоты.
This past weekend a group of Southern Russian Cossacks—taking part in the horseback tour from Volgograd (f.k.a. Stalingrad) to Sevastopol in commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Great Victory of the Soviet People over Nazism in World War II—set up camp on the right bank of the river Salgir in Simferopol’s Vorontsov park. Picture this: about a hundred gorgeous horses peacefully gazing, frolicking in the river and reposing in the shadows of the trees just a five-minute walk from the door of my house! It would’ve been too inexcusable for me not to draw a few quick sketches of such a beautiful scene.
