Качú-кальóн — средневековый пещерный город и монастырь, располагавшиеся в скалах горного плато Пычки-Кая-Баш (Pıçqı Qaya Baş) в самом начале живописной Качинской долины, что в 10 км южнее Бахчисарая. Этимология названия: Качú (Qaçı) — тюркское название реки Кача; кальóн — греческое слово κελιών, т.е. «кельи». Скорее всего, городище Качи-Кальон возникло в VI ст. в процессе создания византийцами укрепленного района Второй гряды. Православная обитель с пещерным монастырём и храмами была основана здесь в VIII—IX ст. переселившимися из Константинополя иконопочитателями и продолжала существовать во время княжества Феодоро. Качи-Кальон отличается от остальных крымских пещерных городов тем, что его рукотворные пещеры (около 250) вырублены не на плато, а у приподнятого над долиной подножия скалы и на самом склоне — в скальных выступах и беспорядочно разбросанных глыбах. Здесь также обнаружены 77 винодавилен-тарапанов — Качи-Кальон некогда был огромным винодельческим комплексом средневековой Таврики. В мае 2005 года силами монахов Бахчисарайского Свято-Успенского пещерного монастыря в Качи-кальоне возрождается древний скит Св. Анастасии Узорешительницы.

Kachí-Kalyón is the name of a medieval cave town and cave monastery in cliffs of the mountain Pychky-Kaya-Bash (Pıçqı Qaya Baş) at the beginning of the picturesque Kacha River Valley, 10 km south of the city of Bakhchysarai (Crimea, Russia). Etymology: Kachí (Qaçı) is the Turkic name of the Kacha River and Kalyón (κελιών) is the Greek word for «monastic cells» The settlement of Kachi-Kalyon most probably appeared in the VI c. as part of a chain of fortified Byzantine garrisons in the Crimean Mountains. The Orthodox Christian monastery and cave temples were founded ca. the VIII—IX c. by the icon-worshippers who had fled Constantinople and continued to function under the Gotho-Byzantine Principality of Theodoro-Mangup. What makes Kachi-Kalyon special among the many Crimean cave-towns is the fact that its 250 man-made caves are found at the bottom of the vertical cliffs above the Kacha Valley and inside the boulders scattered here and there on the mountainside, but not at the mountain top. Also found here are 77 tarapans (wine presses), which once made Kachi-Kalyon the biggest wine-producer of the Medieval Taurica. In May of 2005, several monks from the Bakhchysarai Cave Monastery of the Holy Assumption  revived the ancient Skete dedicated to St. Anastasia the Pharmakolytria.
